"And Abram went up out of Egypt, he and his wife, and Lot with him, into the south. And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold. And he went on his journeys from the south even unto Bethel, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Hai, upon the altar which he made there at first; and there Abram called on the name of the Lord." Gen 13:1-4.
"Then Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which was in Hebron, and he built an altar there to the Lord." Gen 13:18.
"And, behold, I AM with thee (Abram) and will know thee in all places whither thou goes, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of." Gen 28:15.
"The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flies in the air, The likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth: And lest thou lift up thy eyes unto heaven, and when thou sees the sun, and the moon, all the host of heaven, should be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the Lord thy God has divided all the nations in the whole heaven. But the Lord has taken you, and brought you out of the iron furnace, even out of Egypt, to be unto Him a people of inheritance, as you are this day." Deut 4:17-19.

And these words which I command you this day, shall be in thy heart. And thou shall teach them diligently unto thy children, and shall talk of them when thou sits in thy house, and when thou walks by the way, and when thou lies down, and when thou rises up. And thou shall bind them for a sign upon thy hand, and they shall be as fronts between thy eyes. And thou shall write them on the posts of thy house, and on thy gates." Deut 6:4-9.

And all the people shall say, Amen. Cursed be he that perverts the judgment of the stranger, fatherless and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen. Cursed be he that lies with his father's wife, because he uncovers his father's skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen. Cursed be he that lies with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen. Cursed be he that lies with his sister, the daughter of his father, or, the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen. Cursed be he that smites his neighbor, secretly. And all the people shall say, Amen. Cursed be he that confirms not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen." Deut 27:14-26.
"Up sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against tomorrow: for thus says the Lord thy God of Israel, There is an accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou cannot take away the accursed thing from among you." Josh 7:13.
"And the children of Dan set up a graven image: and Jonathan, the son of Gershom, the son of Manasseh, he and his sons were the priests to the tribe of Dan until the captivity of the land. And they set up Micah's graven image, which he made, all the time that the House of God was in Shiloh."Judges 18:30-32.
"They feared the Lord, and served their own gods after the manner of the nations whom they carried away thence." 2 Kings 17:33.
