Through local support from community residents of Devore, CA., George and Sherri Spellman were able to lay the foundation of their new home last year before the Christmas holiday.

But the story is really about Sherri Spellman, the faithful Christian woman who saw God's hand upon everything she was enduring. She has been a faithful parishioner at the local community church in Devore. The Community Church of Devore has been in the community for more than 50 years. She prayed with church members and her pastor for a "real" miracle; a new home. Though the wait had been tough, God has been faithful to answer the prayer of a desperate wife and grandmother.
